
PRESS RELEASE 26th session
The Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 26th session held on 24 April 2025 in Sarajevo, considered materials in the field of competition law and policy, as well as the internal work and functioning of the Competition Council.
The concentration is permitted in the market of retail, wholesale and electronic trade of textile clothing, footwear and fashion accessories resulting from the acquisition of control by the undertaking “Fashion Company” d.o.o. Belgrade, Republic of Serbia over the undertaking “AB – LINE” d.o.o. Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The concentration resulting from the acquisition of control by the undertaking Tonnies International Management GmbH Germany over undertakings belonging to the Vion group of companies and other undertakings is also permitted.
The conclusion rejected the Notification of Intention of concentration of the undertaking HIFA PETROL d.o.o. Sarajevo due to the absence of an obligation to notify the concentration within the meaning of Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Law on Competition.
An Opinion was adopted upon the Request of the undertaking Industrija mesa ZP Komerc d.o.o. Vršani regarding the obligation to notify the intended concentration.
An Opinion was adopted upon the Request of the undertaking ArcelorMittal Zenica d.o.o. regarding the obligation to notify the concentration.
An Opinion was also adopted on the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Heating Residential and Business Space with District Heating in the Area of the City of Zavidovići.
Within the remaining items on the agenda of the session, a Working Group was appointed to draft and propose the Work Program of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025.
