From 17.04.2024 to 18.04.2024. TAIEX organized a study visit to the Federal Competition Agency of the Republic of Austria (FCA), on the topic “Application of competition law and sustainable business”.
The visits were attended by expert advisors Aleksandra Dunjić, Lejla Šaković-Karić and Maja Đurić-Ćehaja, on behalf of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by Lejla Bajramović-Kobilica on behalf of the Directorate for European Integration.

During the visit, the participants were introduced to the way FCA works, as well as the national and EU legislation that the institution applies in its work. The importance of creating sectoral analyzes during the implementation of procedures was highlighted. With regard to new trends in the field of competition protection, the provisions of the Green Agenda and solutions that contribute to a climate-neutral economy should be taken into account, which has become an unavoidable factor in the development of new legal solutions.
The visit also contributed to the creation of contacts with FCA representatives who expressed their readiness for future cooperation.
