Sarajevo, 17April 2025 – Today, the Agreement on Cooperation between the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Securities Commission of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed at the premises of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. This act formalized the initiative to establish cooperation between these two important institutions.

The Agreement was concluded with the aim of defining a framework for efficient mutual cooperation in areas of common interest, facilitating access to relevant data necessary for performing tasks within the jurisdiction of both signatory parties, and improving measures taken within their legal powers. Furthermore, the Agreement provides for joint action in the field of promotion and support for the development of healthy market competition and strengthening the securities market in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When signing the Agreement, the key importance of strengthening cooperation between all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina was emphasized in order to create a more favorable business environment.
