Cooperation established between the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency

On 14 November 2025, the Agreement on Cooperation between the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency was signed in Tbilisi. This Agreement constitutes the basis for deeper cooperation and joint action in ensuring a healthy and competitive market.

The main objective of this partnership is to improve competition policy and law enforcement through intensive mutual support. The parties have committed to actively exchange experiences, especially those gained in investigations related to violations of competition rules. The focus is also on exchanging information on the latest changes in legislation, which allows for rapid adaptation to global standards. The Agreement also provides for the exchange of experiences regarding the relationship between competition authorities and other national regulatory agencies, which is essential for the efficient functioning of the system.

The agreement was signed by the President of the Competition Council of BiH, Ninela Salihbašić, and the President of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency, Irakli Lekvinadze.

After the signing ceremony, a meeting was held to discuss current economic challenges and plans for future joint activities aimed at exchanging best practices in the application of market competition protection. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Competition Council of BiH, as well as the President and associates of the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency.
