
PRESS RELEASE 22nd session
The Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 22nd session held on 20 February 2025 in Sarajevo, review materials in the field of competition law and policy, as well as the internal work and functioning of the Competition Council.
A concentration on the market for the production and sale of aluminosilicate products on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which arises from the acquisition of a share in the share capital of the undertaking “Alumina” d.o.o. Zvornik by the undertaking “Pavgord” d.o.o. Foča, was permitted. Due to the failure to submit the Notification of the concentration within the deadline prescribed by the Law, a fine of 21,096.58 KM was imposed on the undertaking “Pavgord” d.o.o. Foča.
Proceedings were initiated based on the Request for individual exemption of the agreement from the prohibition of the applicant undertaking “Schneider Holding GmbH” Fronhausen, Germany.
Proceedings were initiated upon the Request of the undertaking “Mtel” a.d. Banja Luka, against “Aero Centar Krila” d.o.o. Banja Luka.
The conclusion rejected the Notification of Intention to Merger of the undertaking “Flyus” d.o.o. Belgrade, due to the absence of an obligation to notify a concentration within the meaning of Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Competition Act.
An ex officio Opinion was adopted on the Draft Law on Price Control of the Federal Ministry of Trade.
An Opinion was adopted upon the Request of attorney Nihad Odobašić from Sarajevo, which refers to issues related to an exclusive distribution agreement in relation to a certain hypothetical business cooperation model.
Within the remaining items on the agenda of the session, the Report on the Inventory of Fixed Assets for 2024 was adopted.
