Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 20th session held on 23 December 2024 in Sarajevo, considered materials in the field of competition law and policy, as well as the internal work and functioning of the Competition Council.

Decision was adopted rejecting as unfounded the Claim of the undertakings Pliva Hrvatska d.o.o. and Pliva d.o.o. Sarajevo against the Government of Canton 10.

The Claim was submitted for the purpose of adopting the Decision on the list of medicines that can be prescribed and dispensed at the expense of the mandatory health insurance funds of Canton 10 No.: 01-02-26-2/21 of 22 April 2021, in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (1), item b) of the Law on Competition.
A proposal for the adoption of a decision on a temporary measure in the same proceedings was also rejected.

Proceedings were initiated at the request of several natural persons, against the undertaking KJKP Toplane Sarajevo d.o.o. Sarajevo.

Opinion was adopted upon the Request of the Ministry of Education of the Sarajevo Canton. The opinion assessed that the Draft Law on Dual Education is in compliance with the Law on Competition.
Opinion was adopted upon the request of the Starčević Law Office on the obligation to submit a concentration notification.

Within the remaining items on the agenda of the session, Annex II of the Decision on the Adoption of the Public Procurement Plan of the Competition Council for 2024 was adopted.
