
24th ICN CONFERENCE
The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) hosted the 24th ICN Conference in Edinburgh from 6-9 March 2025.
This prestigious annual conference provides a global platform for interaction and collaboration between the world’s competition agencies. Through the exchange of ideas, innovative approaches and best practices, participants actively work to build consensus on key competition law issues.
Among the substantive sessions, the main focus was on an in-depth exploration of the role of competition in fostering key economic drivers such as productivity, innovation and sustainable growth. Special attention was also paid to the analysis of global trends in competition protection in increasingly dynamic digital markets, recognizing the challenges and opportunities brought by digital transformation.
The conference was full of interesting contributions from eminent experts and stimulating discussions, including the members of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adisa Begić and Ankica Gudeljević, whose presence emphasized Bosnia and Herzegovina’s commitment to cooperation in global initiatives aimed at strengthening the principles of fair market competition.
