PRESS RELEASE – 98th SESSION OF THE COUNCIL OF COMPETITION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
98th session of the Council of Competition of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Sarajevo on 6th November 2014 with the following adopted:
Decision rejecting the request of undertaking “Ljaljić-Tours” d.o.o. Čelić, filed against the Municipality Čelić and the undertaking “Malikic- Tours” d.o.o. Humci, Čelić, in order to establish the existence of an agreement prohibited under Article 4, paragraph (1) item d) of the Competition Act, as unfounded.
Analyzing relevant data collected during the procedure, Council of Competition established that Municipality Čelić, or “Malikic- Tours” d.o.o., through their actions have not concluded an agreement prohibited by Article 4 paragraph (1) item d) of the Act, in terms of applying dissimilar conditions to equivalent transactions with other undertakings, thereby placing them at a disadvantage compared to the competition.
Conclusion on the initiation of the proceedings upon Request for extension of individual exemption from the prohibition established by the Decision of the Council of Competition No: 01-01-26-001-11-II / 2010 of 14.6. 2010, filed by the undertaking Health institution – Hospital “International Medical Centres” Banja Luka, in the sense of Article 6 paragraph (4) of the Competition Act.
Opinion at the request of the State Regulatory Commission for Electricity on the following drafts:
* The draft methodology for the determination of tariffs for electricity supply in Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina
* The draft Regulation amending the Regulation on supplying customers with electricity in Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina
* Draft Decision on amendments to the Methodology for determining tariffs for electricity supply in Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
