At the invitation of the President of the Competition Council of Republic of Croatia, Mladen Cerovac, the President of the Competition Council of BiH, Ivo Jerkic, was in Zagreb and attended the International Conference organized to mark the 20th anniversary of the Croatian Competition Agency.

There were over a hundred participants from the Republic of Croatia and from abroad. The conference was organized through two panels, and the topics were mainly related to the previous experiences and future challenges in the work of the competition bodies in the Republic of Croatia and in the neighboring countries – Republic of Slovenia and Republic of Serbia.Distinguished professors from several Croatian universities as well as the President of the High Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatia talked about competition law. Ms. Despina Pachnou also addressed the conference on behalf of the OECD Competition Committee from Paris.
The backbone of the second panel discussion was the work of the High Administrative Court in resolving disputes in the area of protection of market competition.
Chairman of the Council of Competition of BiH Ivo Jerkic also visited the Office of the Competition Agency and spoke with the President and members of the Croatian Competition Agency about the experiences and challenges in the work of their competition authority.
