At the 48th session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Ivo Jerkić was appointed as the President of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a period of one year, starting on July 26 2024.
Namely, in accordance with the Law on Competition, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, appoints the president from among the members of the Competition Cuncil every year. The president has no right to re-election during the term of office.
Mr Ivo Jerkić was appointed as a member of the Competition Council for the first time in 2016, and then for the second time in 2022. He will replace the current president, Ms Adisa Begić, who has held this position since July 26 2023, and who will continue to work as a member of the Competition Council until the end of the mandate to which she was appointed for the second time in 2022.
