The Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina made the following decisions at its 44th session, held on 21 May 2026 in Sarajevo:

Concentration is allowed in the market of specialized hospital health services in the field of cardiology and cardiac surgery in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina which will result from the acquisition of control of the undertaking “ASA Medical” Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina over the undertaking PZU – Special Hospital “Centar za srce – KM” Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The notification on the concentration of the undertaking “SKES Investment 17 S.à.r.l.” Luxembourg,was rejected. It refers to the acquisition of control over the undertaking “Swixx Biopharma Holding AG” Switzerland, due to the non-existence of the obligation to notify the concentration in the sense of Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Law on Competition.

Opinion was issued at the request of the underaking “JP Elektroprivreda Bosne i Herzegovina d.d.” Sarajevo, on the compliance of certain contractual solutions contained in the standard form of contract on the supply of electricity for market supply, with the rules of market competition.

Opinion was issued based on the request of the City of Zenica, which refers to the compliance of the Public-Private Partnership Agreement with the provisions of the Law on Competition. The opinion also clarified whether it is necessary to submit a notification of concentration for the mentioned contract.

Working Group was appointed to draft and propose the Work Program of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2027.
