In order to improve the understanding and application of information security, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance, organized a seminar on the application of information security policy and risk assessment on 18 September 2024. The seminar was attended by Mladen Ignjić and Adnan Popara on bhelaf of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Participants had the opportunity to learn in detail about the concept of risk assessment as well as different risk assessment methodologies and best practices in the field of information security. Topics such as the identification and assessment of the probability of possible incidents, and the application of organizational and technical protection measures were covered. The human factor is particularly emphasized as an indispensable element of information security.

The seminar contributed to a better understanding of risks and enabled the participants to acquire skills to proactively deal with modern information security challenges.
